MAF Australia VH-NTC repaint for default FSX C208B
Working on the FS2004 textures for the Gippsland GA8 Airvan, I ran into pictures of a Cessna C208B from MAF Australia. In the previous release due to the incomplete photo's, I did not have the complete registrationnumber. In the meantime MAF at Gove airport has been so kind to mail the complete registrationnumber to me: VH-NTC.
They also confirmed this plane in not in service anymore, so... luckily we can keep it in the virtual air.
I haven't redone the screenshots in this announcement, so downhere you still see the fictious registration number VH-NTX. On the actual repaint the number has been replaced by the actual one: VH-NTC.
What still remains is, that the registrationnumber on the wing cannot be painted. Unfortunately, the creator of the default FSX C208B has decided to apply the same texture on the model for the left and the right wing sides. Ofcourse this had to be a mirrored image on the other side. So if I would paint the registration on on wing, the other wing also shows the registration, but mirrored, giving a very strange effect. That's why this livery has to fly without wingregistration.
It is possible, this plane is not active anymore, at least not with this registration and it will probably bear complete different colors if it serves somewere else. However, these are nice colors to fly with, it looks great between the mountains of Papua New Guinea ;-).
So enjoy your virtual flights for life with this new livery.
Downhere you also find the two pictures I used for the repaint.
Enjoy flying!
